Happy birthday, Ishida!  I've spent about a month working on this. It's an entry for the Bleachness Ishida's birthday contest, all entries for which are going to be posted today. Random comments: *I felt bad for giving Ishida a bit of a cut on his face, but otherwise the brightness of Orihime's hair was really overwhelming. He only dripped a little bit of blood on his cape, so hopefully he won't need to bust out a new one too soon  *I had a big debate with myself over whether Ishida needed to be holding his bow at all, but in the end I went for it to try and get more of an interesting composition. It blocks off some of his outfit, but oh well! *I think I've already stated that I support Orihime x kicking butt, and I'm pretty sure this Ishihime drawing qualifies  *I didn't realize quite how much I valued the tiny bits of concrit and helpful comments that trickle in over the course of the more time-consuming works I do until I had to work this one out without them. It was tough! Concrit, as always, is greatly appreciated! I doubt I'll be changing this drawing much, but it's always nice to learn for the future. I know that Orihime's missing a piece of her hairpin, though-- the implication is that she's just sent Tsubaki out to do some damage. |

Inoue and Ishida are holding hands! Took me a minute to get that. Wow, simply wow.
You know, Inoue is one of my least favorite characters, but then again, this hand-holding thing... wow. Such a sweet moment (and such a delicate touch in those hands) in the heat of the battle. Awsome.
The sky is awsome too. That's the second thing that caught my attention.
Great job. I liked it very much!
