Bleach (C) Kubo Tite.

~Colliemon had a request from me ages ago, and wanted some GrimmHime. I need lots more practice on action scenes, and I wanted to combine the two, so I came up with this alternate version of the sequence where Ichigo steps in to stop Nnoitra from slashing Grimmjow up a second time.

This is easily the most ambitious drawing I've worked on to date, despite the fact that it's cel-shaded. It took me ages to come up with a good way to convey motion for Nnoi's sword, and figuring out the composition was no piece of cake either ^^; I figure I worked a good month on this drawing, on and off.

I'd love to hear any suggestions you guys might have for other ways to convey motion-- and as always, any feedback is greatly appreciated. :love:

heey! mal here from eljayy. :D looks like the motion blur worked out pretty well ^^ i like the glow from the shield, it's very eye catching. Hime's expression and the flow of her hair are beautifully done, too. great job :D

My, I don't even ship this pairing, but I think this piece turned out extremely well. Just looking at Orihime's expression alone, this might be one of your best.

Nice work:D I like it :D Orihimi looks exactly the same as she does in Grimmjaw has a kinda long face though.... But I love it :D

i really love this :) orihime is really well drawn and her expression is perfect :D

with Nnoitra's sword i would smudge the black part into the gray part a little, and maybe smudge the grey to go with the speed lines u drew, but with small strokes. i dunno if that helps lol

Thank you! I'm going to have to keep doing them-- they really force me to work on a lot of areas I need practice in. : )
